Put the garlic in a glass container, cover it with the vinegar and sugar mixture, and seal it tightly. Depending on the jar you use, you may need to double the solution. Place the pickled garlic in the refrigerator. Typically, it takes about 2 weeks for the garlic to be ready, and longer will help it mature and taste even better.
