Enjoying a homemade dessert is always delightful, especially when it’s easy to make and has an amazing taste. Alvita cookies, known for their high quality and good taste, can be transformed into a great dessert by adding delicious and soft chocolate. Here’s a simple and tasty recipe for making a chocolate dessert with Alvita cookies that satisfies your sweet cravings and impresses your guests.

Ingredients:

1 pack of Alvita cookies

200 grams of dark chocolate (you can also use milk chocolate or a mix of both)

100 grams of butter

100 grams of sugar

1/2 cup of heavy cream

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt (optional)

Nuts or dried fruit for decoration (optional)

Instructions:

Preparing the base: First, cover a baking tray with parchment paper. Arrange the Alvita cookies in a single layer on the tray, making sure they are side by side but not overlapping.

Making the caramel layer: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sugar and stir continuously until the mixture starts to bubble and turns a light golden color. This step takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Now carefully pour the caramel over the cookies and smooth it out with a spoon or spatula.

Baking: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Place the tray in the oven and bake for 5 to 7 minutes, until the caramel bubbles and the cookies are slightly toasted.

Melting the chocolate: While the cookies are in the oven, melt the chocolate in a suitable container over a double boiler or in the microwave. If using the microwave, stir every 30 seconds until the chocolate is completely melted. Add the cream and vanilla extract to the chocolate and stir until you have a smooth and glossy mixture.

Combining and cooling: After the cookies and caramel are ready, take the tray out of the oven. Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel layer and spread it evenly to cover all the cookies. If you like, sprinkle a little sea salt on the dessert to create an interesting sweet and salty flavor. You can also add chopped nuts or dried fruit at this stage.

Chilling: Let the dessert cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Then, place the tray in the refrigerator and wait at least 1 hour for the chocolate to set completely.

Serving: Once the dessert is set, take it out of the refrigerator and break it into small pieces or cut it into even squares with a knife. The combination of crunchy cookies, buttery caramel, and soft chocolate creates a delicious and special dessert that is perfect for any occasion.
