Using 123 Adhesive

There is a need to perform prerequisites to enhance the quality of work, some of which are stated below, and adhering to these points greatly helps achieve the desired result.

1- To achieve the best performance of the adhesive, carefully dry, clean, and ensure the surfaces to be bonded are free from dust, rust, and grease.

2- Spray the activator on one of the surfaces and allow it to evaporate.

3- Apply a few drops of adhesive to the opposite surface.

4- Quickly place the surfaces in their proper position and press them together for a few seconds (15 seconds).

Safety precautions when working with 123 adhesive • Avoid inhaling vapors from the spray.

• Use in a well-ventilated area.

• Avoid smoking while working with 123 adhesive.

• Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and if contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and temperatures above 50 degrees.

• Do not throw the 123 adhesive container into fire or puncture it even after use.

• In case of fire, use foam – CO₂ gas – powder for extinguishing.

Solvent for 123 Adhesive

The first substance used to clean 123 adhesive is acetone. This substance can gently break down the adhesive and is mostly applicable in cases where the adhesive has completely dried. (It should be noted that the acetone used for removing nail polish is too diluted to effectively remove 123 adhesive.) Therefore, industrial acetones should be used. To clean anything that has 123 adhesive spilled and dried on it, first, it should be placed in acetone and we wait for the adhesive to completely soften, making it ready for cleaning. Acetone is usually used to clean adhesive from materials such as metal parts, stone, glass, Teflon, and uncolored fabric; therefore, our suggestion is to first place a part of the item in acetone to check for any potential damage before proceeding, to avoid any issues with your desired object. Also, be aware that acetone is unsuitable for items made of rubber, nylon, and plastic.
