Pharmaceutical Group: Mucolytic (Expectorant)

Composition:

Each milliliter of solution contains:

Bromhexine (Hydrochloride) 10 mg

Target Species:

Poultry, Chicken, Calf, Foal, Lamb, and Kid

Indications:

Poultry: Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD), Infectious Bronchitis, Infectious Laryngotracheitis, Infectious Coryza, and Influenza.

Chicken: Infectious Sinusitis.

Calf, Foal, Lamb, and Kid: Pneumonia, Bronchopneumonia, Rhinitis, and Cough.

Mechanism of Action:

Bromhexine is a mucolytic compound that by increasing bronchial secretions, thins mucus and facilitates its removal from the respiratory tract, thereby quickly treating respiratory diseases. Menthol also has plant-based mucolytic properties, improving respiratory function by clearing the respiratory tract.

Dosage and Administration:

Poultry and Chicken: 100 milliliters in 100 liters of drinking water per day.

Calf and Foal: 1 to 2 milliliters per 10 kilograms of body weight per day.

Lamb and Kid: 0.2 to 0.4 milliliters per 10 kilograms of body weight per day.

This medication should be administered once a day for 3 to 5 days at the recommended dose in drinking water.

Withdrawal Period:

Meat: 2 days after the last treatment

Contraindications:

Do not use in laying birds whose eggs are intended for human consumption.

Precautions:

When Bromhexine is used with Chloramphenicol, Tetracyclines, or Spiramycin, the concentration of these drugs in bronchial secretions increases.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Use under the supervision of a veterinarian.

After opening the bottle cap, the contents should be used within 30 days.

The prepared solution containing the drug should be used within a maximum of 24 hours.

Storage Conditions:

Store away from light and protect from freezing at temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius.
