AAC Adhesive

The cement-based adhesive for autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is suitable for connecting lightweight wall blocks that have high water absorption. Its low consumption, no adhesive waste, easy preparation and workability, high strength and resistance, and moisture resistance are unique properties of this adhesive, and it does not require the addition of any other additives besides water.

Note: This adhesive can also be used for filling and repairing damage to the blocks during installation and grouting them to achieve a more robust and uniform wall surface.

The consumption of this product is significantly lower than similar items in the market, such that one bag of adhesive can cover one cubic meter of blocks.

Usage Method

1) Gradually add the adhesive powder to water in a clean container and stir thoroughly. (If possible, use an electric mixer)

2) The mixing ratio is 6 liters of water to 23 kilograms of adhesive powder. (It should be noted that depending on the humidity of the area and the ambient temperature, this ratio can vary by a maximum of plus/minus 2 kilograms of adhesive powder, so continue adding adhesive powder to the water until a paste-like (fluid) consistency is achieved. Obviously, a very thin or very thick mortar is not acceptable.)

3) After complete mixing, wait about 5 minutes and then stir the mixture for about 1 minute to achieve the final mortar consistency.

4) The suitable temperature for preparing and using the ready mortar is between 10 to 35 degrees Celsius. Accordingly, the usage time after mixing is a maximum of 2 hours.

5) When a uniform mortar is obtained, spread it with a trowel on the horizontal and vertical surfaces of the AAC block that have been previously cleaned and moistened, with a thickness of about 2 to 3 millimeters, and adhere the block pieces.
