AAC Adhesive

The adhesive based on aerated autoclaved concrete (AAC) is suitable for connecting lightweight wall blocks that have high water absorption. Its unique properties include low consumption, no waste of adhesive, easy preparation and workability, high strength and resistance, and moisture resistance, requiring no additives other than water.

Note: This adhesive can also be used for filling and repairing damaged blocks during application and jointing to achieve a more durable and uniform wall surface.

The block adhesive eliminates thermal bridging of the cement-sand mortar and speeds up the installation of pieces.

The consumption rate of this product is significantly lower than similar products on the market, such that one bag of adhesive can cover one cubic meter of blocks.

Usage Instructions

1) Gradually add the adhesive powder to water in a clean container and stir thoroughly. (If possible, use an electric mixer)

2) The mixing ratio is 6 liters of water to 23 kg of adhesive powder. (It should be noted that depending on the moisture level of the area and ambient temperature, this ratio can vary by a maximum of plus/minus 2 kg of adhesive powder, so continue adding adhesive powder to water until a paste-like (flowable) consistency is achieved. It is evident that a very thin slurry or very thick mixture is not acceptable.)

3) After complete mixing, wait about 5 minutes, and then stir the mixture for about 1 minute to achieve the final desired consistency.

4) The optimal temperature for preparing and using the prepared mortar is between 10 to 35 degrees Celsius. Accordingly, the mixing time after preparation should not exceed 2 hours.

5) Once a uniform mortar is obtained, apply it with a trowel on the horizontal and vertical surfaces of the previously cleaned and moistened AAC block at a thickness of about 2 to 3 millimeters and attach the block pieces.
